RESOURCES FOR EDUCATION AND ACTION TOWARDS ANTI-RACISM
I have compiled a list of useful resources: education for allies, understanding the past and present of racism in the USA, Black arts and culture, Mental Health for POC, discussing race and racism with kids, family, coworkers, and strangers, how to support the current protests, and much more. Please share with anyone you think it may benefit and please share any more resources with me. I will continue to update this list.
FILMS AND ACTIVITIES- DISCOVERY FILM FESTIVAL
If you are looking for ways to educate and entertain your kids, the Discovery Film Festival creates curricula around short films made for children ages 7-10. These films mostly look at life's harder-to-grasp concepts like loneliness or grief and make them more easily accessible to young audiences. The corresponding curricula include things like question prompts, discussion topics, and creative activities.
